Great service , great prices, and hot good food! Large portions. We enjoyed it, so much better than Waffle houses. Quick stop off the freeway. Very clean including restrooms. Friendly staff. We will be back.

Used to come here all the time but it has become apparent that they are trying to save money by purchasing cheap products. The coffee is terrible and the ketchup is some cheap off brand. Don't think I will be coming back any time soon.

Stellar, friendly reception from start to finish. I ordered the biscuits & sausage gravy and as an after thought when the waitress asked me, "Is that all?" I got scrambled eggs, too. What a surprise when the biscuits arrived and it was more than enough for a full meal. The eggs were delicious, the biscuits & gravy was very good, but by no means the best I've ever had. The gravy had a lot of crumbled sausage with great flavor. This place is pretty much your classic diner, the kind of dive where you get a hair in your food and just shrug and eat around it (actually happened). In a nice restaurant or somewhere the staff wasn't as genial, I would be put off and complain about something like that, but here I just went with it. Everyone else mostly enjoyed their food - the pancakes were said to be okay and the only other complaint I heard was that the cheese grits had an "off" flavor.

Less than appetizing. Nothing hot, only kinda warm. 1st time, probably last. Better service and hotter food at Waffle House.

The folks are nice. The food is delicious. The prices are great. I recommend the country fried steak with white gravy....oh have mercy. A huge meal you won't wanna leave on the plate.

We are just traveling through Columbia, South Carolina and wanted a local place for breakfast. The menu offered items not found everywhere (fried bologna, liver pudding, etc) and the food was fresh and tasty.

Great country cooking and a staff with big personalities. Easy laid back environment, affordable and friendly. Right off the interstate. "WAKE UP ON THE SUNNYSIDE" is their moto!

A decent place to get some country cookin', but the packed parking lot will have you walking in with high expectations. It's been several weeks since my lunch, so I don't remember all the details, but I remember being underwhelmed. I got the country fried steak sandwich platter and the meat tasted like it was never seasoned. The gravy I had to dip it in was pretty bland, as well. Mac 'n cheese was ok, but there was little cheese and forking a noodle would pick one up looking like it just came out the boiling pot. On the plus side, they did have packs of apple butter for my biscuit!

Delish and inexpensive. The pot roast was as good as it gets!

This is a country breakfast house. Nothing fancy, just good food fixed right. We had eggs over easy with has browns and baked ham. The has browns were my favorite. Chunks of potatoes with onions cooked crispy. I did ask for crispy. Hmm couldn't stop eating them.

My daughter and I were visiting Columbia and looking for breakfast this last weekend. We saw the parking lot at Brunches and how full it was so we decieded to give it a try. Great food and service with prices so good you cant believe it. Well worth a stop in
